Campus IT Newsletter

Campus IT Newsletter is a monthly online publication from the Computer Service Centre(CSC) succeeding the previous IT Newsletter for Teachers, in order to reach the whole MPI community.

The Campus IT Newsletter will bring to you information regarding new Campus IT initiatives, activities, introduction of selected software and online services, IT usage tips and sharing of opinions, in order to enhance students learning and support for academic and administrative staff.

The Campus IT Newsletter has 6 sections:

. News from Us	This section will highlight Campus IT activities and projects, announcements of new services, as well as training offers from CSC.
. Teaching with IT	This sections is mainly oriented towards academic staff and presents links to useful online resources for teaching practice and new trends in educational technology or tools.
. Learning with IT	Learning with IT section is dedicated to students and staff, pointing them to online resources that can enhance or facilitate studying and learning.
. Toolbox	The aim of the Toolbox is to present new software (mainly free software) and online tools or utilities designed to facilitate work.
. IT Usage Tips	This section includes tips and hints from CSC staff for getting the most out of IT. It may address common problems with hardware or present instructions for working with software.
. Opinions	This section aims to be a space for our users to give us feedback or to contribute as authors for this newsletter. This section also links to the Computer Service Centre Weblog, where you are welcome to participate to share your view with us.

You are welcome to send us contributions in small articles and/or suggestions about subjects you would like to see in further issues of the newsletter, links to websites, small articles, reviews of books or websites, or any reports of educational experience you may want to share with others.

Credits will be given to all contributors of each issue of the newsletter.
