  Hostel Network and Internet Access
  In order to provide a quick and stable Internet access to students living in the Institute's hostels, from September 1, 2007 onwards, a free broadband Internet access service is available in all hostels.
  Students have independent user accounts and passwords to access this service and are requested to comply with the following rules:
 

1. Internet usage should always be legal and ethical;

2. Students must respect intellectual property rights;

3. Students should not share with others their own username and password;

4. Students must accept the administrative policies and technical supervision from the corresponding administrative departments;

5. Students must report to Computer Service Centre or to the hostel supervisor any unsuitable use of the service;

6. As the broadband connection is provided by Macau CTM company, students must also comply with their terms and regulations;

7. If any of the above rules is violated, the Computer Service Centre is entitled to cancel the access to the service of the student(s) implied.
 

For a uniformised procedure, should students have any questions regarding this service, they must contact first the hostel supervisor.

新寬頻服務
  為了提供更穩定、優質的上網服務給予全體宿生，資訊中心將於新學年（2007年9月1日起）在學院轄下的學生宿舍內提供一人一線新寬頻服務。新的服務提供512K全日24小時的免費上網服務，並且一人一線、使用獨立的用戶帳號和密碼，互不干擾。用戶帳號、密碼和安裝連線指引將由舍監派發。
  學生在使用新的寬頻服務的同時必須嚴格遵守下列各項守則：
 
一、不得從事危害違法犯罪活動，不製作、查閱、複製和傳播有礙社會治安及社會公德和有傷社會風化的資訊；因上網而產生的所有法律責任，概由學生自負。

二、尊重網路上所有資源的知識產權；

三、不向他人提供用戶帳號、密碼；

四、 自覺接受有關管理部門的行政管理與技術監督；

五、 有義務向資訊中心和舍監報告任何違反用戶守則的行為；

六、 由於此寬頻服務由澳門電訊提供，宿生也必須遵守澳門電訊“極動感”服務條款及細則；

七、 對於違反上述守則的同學，資訊中心有權取消其寬頻服務的使用權。
  學生在使用服務時如遇到問題,可先聯絡舍監、以便本中心進行統一處理。
