To access the computers in the Labs., please use the following procedure:
- after the logon to Novell Netware, the user is prompted with a Windows login to choose between Chinese or English interface, by typing Chinese or English in the Windows username field.
- No password is required for both Chinese & English login.
Chinese is the default choice but if the user wants to access the English interface, he/she can change the login name to English instead.
NOTE for staff: the Novell context is set to student.ipm by default; staff members need to manually change it to staff.ipm in order to login to the machine.
After login to Novell, you can choose English or Chinese Windows by using username English or Chinese respectively.
