SafeAssignments appear in courses as "Content Link" and can be added to any course content area. SafeAssignments function like the existing Assignment content type with the feature of plagiarism detection once papers are submitted. It generates a report for each uploaded file, identifying text appearing in other sources.

1. Select the SafeAssignment and click View/Complete.

2. The Upload SafeAssignment page will appear.

3. Fill in the required information and browse your computer to select the file to upload as in the figure below.

4. Click Submit.

After uploading your file to SafeAssign, you may check the report.

1. Click on the SafeAssignment you wish to access.

2. The SafeAssignments page will display a list of all your uploaded files, with a percentage of text matching with other sources.

3. Click the percentage to view the interactive report detailing the results of the matching process.

. Global Reference Database containing papers that were volunteered by students from Blackboard client institutions to help prevent cross-institutional plagiarism.
